Chemical/Physical Nature

7937 resin is a phthalic unsaturated polyester resin with phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride and standard diols as the main raw materials. It has been dissolved in crosslinked monomers such as styrene and has low viscosity and medium reactivity.

Benefits and Application

7937 resin has low viscosity, moderate temperature peak, high strength, shrinkage and good toughness. Suitable for normal temperature and medium temperature solid fossil quartz stone.

Application Guidelines

1.ZC-680 resin does not contain wax, accelerators and thixotropic additives.
2.ZC-680 resin is suitable for normal temperature and medium temperature curing. Medium temperature curing is more conducive to production control and product performance assurance. Medium temperature curing system recommended: TBPO (content ≥97%),1% resin content; Curing temperature, 80±5℃ curing not less than 2.5 hours. Coupling agent recommended: gamma-methylacryloxy propyl trimethoxy-silane KH-570, 2% resin content.
3.ZC-680 resin has wide applicability.
4.ZC-680 resin production process, after heating and curing, should be smoothly reduced to room temperature, to avoid cold, to prevent product deformation or cracking, especially in winter. The cutting and polishing of quartz stone in the production process should be carried out after sufficient post-curing.
5.ZC-680 resin should avoid the moisture absorption of the filling material, too high moisture content will affect the curing of the product, resulting in a decline in performance.
