ZC-5118 resin is an iso-phenylene unsaturated polyester resin with iso-phenylene, maleic anhydride and standard glycol as the main raw materials. It has been dissolved in styrene cross-linking monomer and has medium viscosity and high reactivity.
ZC-5118 resin complies with the requirements of GB13115-1991 “Hygienic Standard for Unsaturated Polyester Resin and FRP Products for Food Containers and Packaging Materials”. It has high elongation at break, high heat resistance and good mechanical strength. Suitable for linings of fiberglass pipes/sand-filled pipes, storage tanks, etc. It complies with the JC/T1092-2008 standard for mechanical forming winding resin and the GB/T21238-2007 standard for fiberglass sand-filled pipes, and can be used in continuous winding processes.

1. ZC-5118 resin does not contain wax, accelerators and thixotropic additives.
2. Recommended curing system: 0.4-2.0% cobalt accelerator (1%Co), 1.0-2.5% MEKP curing agent.
3. In order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the GB13115-1991 standard, food-grade FRP products are post-cured as follows: post-cured at 80°C for 3-4 hours, and washed with hot water at 80°C for 1-2 hours.
4. ZC-5118 resin is suitable for the inner lining of winding pipes/sand-filled pipes and storage tanks.
5. It is recommended to choose ZC-9365 resin for the structural layer of winding pipes/sand pipes and storage tanks.
